This year edition of International Nail Care Congress and Trade Fair organized by „Paznokcie” magazine were held on Novemeber 21 in the Victoria Hotel in Warsaw. This both congress and trade fair for professionalists of nail industry took place on the same day with participation of leading companies.
One of the special guests of the congress was Natalia Yakubchuk from Ukraine. She is known and admired by Polish nail stylists due to her publications on the Internet. Invited by the Editorial Office of „Paznokcie” magazine, she made her first visit to Poland. Her designs are masterpieces of nail art done with a combined acrylic technique with acrylic paints. I guess nobody objects that they are full of magic. Faces defined with finest details, precise mosaics, masks, perfect composition and planning, selection of colours and finished with the greatest precision even of the tiniest elements.
Next guest from Ukraine well known to our readers, was Valeria Isayeva who specializes in acrylic bas-relief. Her designs are exceptionally flat and gentle and that is why they look so lightly and vividly. She made us more familiar with her method of styling during presentation of salon nails. She began with basic rules of composition giving a lot of valuable hints which definitely will be useful in everyday work in salons.
Anita Petryszyn-Dopierała, very talented Polish nail stylist and cosmetologist, was another guest of the congress. She presented an interesting lecture on using covering products in styling and nail art. Her lecture received highest grades from participants. It doesn’t surprise us as she presented a lot of practical hints and technical details which are helpful with creating everyday salon nails.
Beata Butwicka from Poland gave a lecture on marketing aspects of nail salon. Providing examples she was convincing how important an image of a nail salon is and what apparently insignificant elements build a success. Her multimedia lecture was full of valuable advice and ideas of salon development.
This person is well-known to our readers and participants of our congress. This time dr Małgorzata Sokołowska-Wojdyło presented an overview of the most frequent dermatological afflictions in the area of nails and nahd and foot skin as well as the impact of badly-done service of nail extensions on a natural nail plate. Undoubtedly this is the knowledge that each nail stylist should possess in order to be able to help her/his customer in case of any of such problems.
The exhibitors prepared a number of special offers and product demos for the participants of the congress and trade fair.
